Mineral exchange Arzberg on March 8, 2026
On Sunday, March 8, 2026, Arzberg, the Alexander von Humboldt mining town, will once again host its popular mineral fair – in the hall of the Turnerheim. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., numerous exhibitors will present their fascinating treasures from the world of minerals, fossils, and gemstones.
Whether from the region or from all over the world – collectors and enthusiasts can look forward to a diverse range of offerings:
Artifacts from the Fichtel Mountains, the Upper Palatinate, Saxony, Thuringia, and the Czech Republic meet rarities from international sites. The selection is complemented by fossils, opals, artistic gemstone jewelry, and much more.
A particular highlight is the large special exhibition, where renowned collectors present their best pieces in themed display cases. This year's main theme of the mineral show is:
"The Johanneszeche and its special minerals" – a unique opportunity to admire excellent exhibits from the mostly closed private collections from this traditional deposit.
Whether you're a hobby geologist, an experienced collector, or simply curious – everyone will find something to enjoy at the Arzberg Mineral Exchange!
